COMMUNITY OUTREACH in MESA February 27th, 2010 - Join us and bring friends, the more the merrier!
On Saturday, February 27th, 2010, the City of Mesa is looking for a few volunteers - 1500-2000 to be exact! Instead of just focusing on Graffiti Removal, the APWA Outreach Team will be putting a team together for that day to tackle whatever Mesa needs us to do. That could range from painting projects, alley clean-ups, park clean-ups, graffiti removal, house painting, yard work, bridge painting, etc.
Breakfast will be served and everyone who participates will receive a t-shirt. Their kick-off time is set for 7:30 a.m. and all projects will be completed no later than 11:30 a.m. I will be participating in a team leader training some time in January, so I can get you more details after that. There are no limits to the number of people APWA can recruit, so the more the merrier!
