Kirk Beaty is the Public Works Director for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC). He has more than 20 years of experience spanning the areas of residential and commercial construction, construction inspection, materials testing, pavement design and maintenance, construction management, and department administration.
Kirk has been the Public Works Director at the SRPMIC for two years, following 13 years as the Assistant Engineering Director and project manager. He was the Senior Project Executive in the development and construction of Salt River Fields at Talking Stick (the Spring Training home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies) and the SRPMIC Two Waters Government Complex, among other projects. Prior to joining the SRPMIC, Kirk worked for a local pavement maintenance and asphalt-rubber contractor, the Arizona Department of Transportation, and his family’s residential construction business.
Kirk is a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, and he is a Registered Professional Engineer in Arizona.
