Last month, I gave a brief overview of APWA-AZ's Strategic Planning Goals and mentioned the many committees that help us achieve those goals. I did a disservice to those committees by not saying THANK YOU at least one thousand times in big bold letters. November is the time for us to remember what we are thankful for and when I think about what I am most thankful for, as it relates to APWA, I would have to say my thanks goes to all the people who make up our great chapter. So many of our members work very hard behind the scenes to help make APWA a better chapter for you. Our conference, newsletter, mixers opportunities, volunteer events, awards, and education outreach would not be possible without the numerous dedicated members who help pull it all together. If you are one of those amazing people, please give yourself a pat on the back and know you are appreciated! I hope you all have a healthy and safe Thanksgiving!
Young Professionals Meeting The Young Professionals Committee is hosting a virtual presentation on December 3. Kristin Tytler of the City of Surprise will be presenting on her experience with private development from both the public and private side.
