APWA July 2019 Luncheon

Description :

Anti-Light Rail Initiative - Get the Facts

Wulf Grote
Director of Capital and Service Development, Valley Metro

As you may have read or heard, Proposition 105 will be voted on August 27, 2019. If Prop 105 passes, it would terminate “the furtherance of any light rail extension or any other fixed rail line transit system and “redirect the funds from the termination of all light rail extensions planned in Phoenix to finance infrastructure improvements”. There is a lot of misinformation on Prop 105. As a result, Scott Smith, Valley Metro CEO will join us on July 17th to discuss Prop 105  and share the facts.

Wulf Grote is the Director of Capital and Service Development for Valley Metro in Phoenix, Arizona. His Division is responsible for rail and bus facility planning, design, construction, art and community relations. In addition, Wulf oversees transit system and service planning.
