The 2010 APWA Statewide Conference is scheduled for August 2 and August 3 at the Phoenix Convention Center. The APWA Statewide Conference Committee is working to bring you another interesting and valuable conference experience in the summer of 2010.
We are very much aware of the continuing budget issues and have begun the planning efforts necessary to tailor the conference to provide the best value at the least cost for those in attendance. The conference schedule will again be compressed into two full days with professional development and core service education emphasized in the program presentations. Reflecting on last year's conference attendance and comments from the membership, we will once again hold the conference at the Phoenix Convention Center, which served us well in 2009, but with added flexibility in terms of networking and attendance.
As the details of the conference progress, we will be sharing that information so that you can support this activity in your budget plans. If you have ideas you wish to share with us, please send them to Ginger R. at azapwa@cox.net

ATTENTION: APWA National 2015 Congress in ARIZONA!!

The APWA Executive Committee just voted to select the city and Chapter to host the 2015 International Congress and Public Works Exposition. The Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Arizona Chapter of APWA have been selected! Thank you and congratulations to all the members of the Arizona Chapter!
